Microsoft is now set to release a new update for its web browser, Microsoft edge which is based on Chromium 79 will be released next year in January which will be available for Windows 10, Windows 7, Windows 8, MacOS

The new version of Microsoft Edge backed by Chromium 79 releasing on 15 January 2020 will have whole a lot of new features and security updates coming up.
The new Chromium Edge will leave the old fashioned e letter logo by Microsoft instead will have a new catchy one. It looks like a wave.
Microsoft Edge release in January will include the sync which was turned off by developers in recent updates for bug fixes. Now, Sync support for passwords, history, favorites, and settings will be available back for all operating systems, Android, iOS, macOS, windows.
Some new features which will be focused on benefiting businesses will be added. Using bing address bar to search for co-workers, office locations, definition of jargon will be made easy in this update. They have upgraded Bing for intranet usage too.
Mircosoft has also added new extensions to the web browser support for more easy usage. 84 extensions are added making the count from 160 to 244
The New Version of Microsoft Edge
The new stable version of Mircosoft Edge will be 79.0.309.54. which is exactly the same as the stable Google Chrome version. Also, both the web browser is based on the same chromium version 79.0.3945.88.
Both chrome and edge are on the latest chromium version and are ahead in the patch level as compared to others like opera. Only Vivaldi 2.10 browser is on version 79.0.3945.94.
I think it will great update by Microsoft. And the Edge browser will be something that can bring people back to the stock browser of the Windows OS.
Browser support in Windows OS and edge browser will be a good choice if you are a corporate person or a just browser and don’t use much of time browsing data.
