Step 2: Open google sheets. Click on menu on the top left corner. Then click on Settings>Theme.

Step 1: Click on google chrome and go to extensions.
Step 2: Search for the extension ‘Dark Theme’ and click on add extension. The extension gets added to your chrome.
Step 3: With this step, the dark theme gets enabled on every site you visit. For enabling it for only sites you want to work on dark mode, click on three vertical dots on side of dark theme>This can and change site data> select the option-When you click the extension.
Step 4: Open google sheets and open new spreadsheet. click on dark theme.









This way, you get to view google sheets in dark mode. The extension automatically, changes your text color to white and you can then easily view and work on your google sheets.



How to view google sheets in dark mode on iOS device.
Unlike android, changing theme setting is not available. Still, you can enable dark mode on google sheets on Mac or other iOS device. Just follow the easy steps given below.
- Go to App Store and download google sheets if you have not downloaded google sheets.
- Tap on Settings>Accessibility> scroll down to Accessibility Shortcut>Check Smart Invert Colours.
- Now, open google sheets>New spreadsheet.
- Click on home button and tap it thrice.
- Click on smart invert.









You can now view and edit your google sheets in dark mode. To disable dark mode, tap on home button and click on smart invert to disable it.
