When it comes to mails, Gmail is the first thing that we think. For many of us now “Gmail has become an abbreviation for email”. The mail service by Google is one of the best service available on the Internet and is free to use. With a users base of more than 1.5 billion, Gmail is the most used email service and that makes it important for Google to keep it updated with the best possible features.
Gmail Update : Quick Setting Menu
Google will be soon rolling out a new update for Gmail. This update will be adding Quick Setting menu to the inbox. This will enable users to effectively change Gmail’s interface and can change the setting options and make access to setting much more comfortable.
This new UI of Gmail is adding the new Quick Setting Menu in the top-right side of the window and adds access to important settings without leaving the inbox page.
Based on the G Suite Update blog, the new UI of the Gmail will contain the Quick Settings menu. This will help the user to make the changes in the UI of Gmail easily. Some changes that you will be able to perform are :
- Find and use different ways of layouts easily.
- Change the density of the mails in your inbox, this updates how comfortably the mails are presented in the Gmail’s Inbox page.
- Changing the Theme of Gmail to give it an elegant look.
- Changing the inbox type that has options to display the mails in different types based on functionality.
